Jonathan (Patrick) Parks died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Martin, Presque Isle. The deceased was born in Eaton Grant on March 17, 1842. the son of David Owen and Nancy (Haggerty) Parks. On January 3, 1864, he was united in marriage to Florence May Violette, if Caribou, who died February 8, 1922. Mr. Parks was one of the last Pioneers of Caribou and was the oldest resident of Aroostook County. He is survived by three sons, George Fredrick, Fred Leonard, and George H. Parks; Five daughters: Mrs. H. B. Kelley, Mrs. M. J. Fillion, Mrs. Macy's Patten, Mrs. Charles Martin, Mrs. Sarah Doody and two brothers, Allen and Moses Parks.
