- WATERVILLE -- Theo C. Violette, 75, of Waterville, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Woodlawn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Skowhegan, where she had been a resident for the past six weeks fighting a courageous battle against cancer.
She was born March 27, 1930, in Unity, Maine, a daughter of Manley A. and Edith F. (Stuart) Palmer. She was educated in the schools of Unity.
She married Patrick L. Violette Sr., Feb. 27, 1972, in Fairfield, Maine. Theo was a housewife most of her life and a life long resident of Clinton. She loved crocheting and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Sr., of Waterville; three sons, Arthur White and his wife, Judy, of Clinton; Scott Violette of Hallowell; and Harold White of Dexter; a daughter, Flora Cates, of Bangor; several step-sons and step-daughter; two brothers, Lloyd Palmer and his wife, Marie, of Ohio; and Vern Palmer and his wife, Mary, of Newport, Maine; two sisters, Janice Sheldon and her husband, John, of Palmyra, Maine; and Marvis Huntington and her husband, Ken, of Detroit, Maine; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
At Theo's request there will be no memorial or graveside services.
Arrangements under the direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, Skowhegan, Maine. Friends wishing may make donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Maine Division Inc., 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
