You are eligible for membership in the Association if you or your spouse are a descendant of Francois Violet. There is no cost to be a member.

We have extensive genealogy going back to the late 1600s that can trace family trees to determine descendancy. Go to the Genealogy tab and click on Family Tree to search to see if you are a descendant. You will need to find your Person ID (from Family Tree) or RIN (the numeric portion of the Person ID) to join; this proves you are a descendant.

If you are unable to locate yourself in our Family Tree and get your PersonID/RIN, but believe you are a descendant of Francois Violette, please download a blank Member Data Form, fill it in and send it to us so we can get you added and assign you a Person ID.

The form is a fillable PDF form that you can fill in on your computer and then save. Once you are ready, just send it to us as an email attachment to peteviolette47@gmail.com.
