    According to the 1861 census, he was born in Quebec. I can find no record of him in Adrien Bergeron's LE GRAND ARRANGEMENT DES ACADIENS AU QUEBEC.
    Notes by Fidele Theriault pg 134 he was the Godfather of Joseph Blanchard, son of Raphael and Pelagie Doucet.
    The missionary Orfroy inscribed on the baptismal certificate that he was the cousin of Pelagie Doucet. and the grandson of Chales Doucet (1723).
