    Notes:

    In 1752 they were living at St. Pierre du Nord.
    The census taker addressed him as sieur and listed his occupation as fisherman.
    Charles had been in the country for 20 years.

    In Nov 1758 Louis Charles and his seven children were deported back to St. Malo, France.
    The two month voyage nearly destroyed the family. Two children were buried at sea, and his wife and two other children died within 3 months of reaching St. Malo.

    In 1764, Louis Charles and his family emigrated to Martinique.
    The family returned to France the same year, except for Charles Louis who remained in Martinique.
    Louis Charles died on the return voyage to France.
