    Gardiner --- Allen J. Sears, 38, employed at the Augusta plant of the Hazzard Co., dropped while at work at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and died shortly after as a result of a lung hemorrhage.
    Survivors are his wife Jennie M., two small sons, Raymond W. and Robert E., six brothers, J.H. of Gardiner, W.G. of New York, W.J. of Rockland, Harry A. of Augusta, S.C. of Indiana, J.L. of Albany; three sisters, Mrs. H.L. Goldsmith and Mrs. C.E. Tibbetts of West Gardiner and Louise Roberts of Norway.
    The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home.

    Services - - - Funeral services for Allen J. Sears were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home and a large number of friends and relatives were present. The floral offererings were many and beautiful.
    Rev. William R. Wood, pastor of the Penney Memorial United Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery. The bearers were Joseph, Thomas, Chenille and Frank Violette.

    Hallowell - - - Mrs. Jeanne Sears Elliott died Friday morning in Hallowell. She was the daughter of Napoleon and Edith Violette of this city.
    She is survived by one daughter Hope Sears of Detroit, Mich.; and two sons, Raymond and Robert Sears; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Powers of Philadelphia, Penn., Mrs. Rose Violette of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Marie Michaud of Siegas, N.B., Mrs. Betty Arata of Hallowell and Mrs. Henry Cote of Augusta; four brothers, Frank, Rene, Channel and Thomas Violette of Augusta.
    The body is at the Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Augusta.

    Services - - - Prayers for Jennie Violette Elliott were said Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Plummer Funeral Home by the Rev. Lucien E. Mandeville. Bearers were Sylvio Cote, Roger Cote, George Violette and Leo Violette.
    Burial was in the family lot in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
