In Nov 1758 Louis Charles and his seven children were deported back to St. Malo, France. The two month voyage nearly destroyed the family. Two children were buried at sea, and his wife and two other children died within 3 months of reaching St. Malo. In 1764, Louis Charles and his family emigrated to Martinique.
