Elder Viola Violette Bouchard, wife of the late Patrick Bouchard, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at a Madawaska Health Care Facility. She was born June 5, 1929, in Eagle Lake, the youngest of 12 children to John and Meddie Nadeau Violette.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Soldier Pond, as well as a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Martin and husband, Richard of Fort Kent, Arlene Boyle and husband, Rocky of Holden; two sons, Father Robert Bouchard of New bury Port, MA, Kevin Bouchard and wife, Amy of New Gloucester; six grandchildren, Justin and wife, Nichole of Van Buren, Candace and husband, Donnie of Bowling Green, KY, Adam Boyle of Bangor, Kristi Boyle and boyfriend, Tim Leuterio of Corinth, Abby and Abram of New Gloucester; five great-grandchildren, Courtlin, Kevin and Katie of Bowling Green, KY, Ezekiel Martin of Van Buren, and Jackson Leuterio due in September; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Letipha Ioltt, Alice Simard, Laura Violette, Mildred Rittaro, Mary Jane Russell and Emelie Violette; brothers, Alvie, Alfred, Patrick, William and Hampy Violette.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Soldier Pond. Committal services followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
