    • Enlisted in the RCAF in September 1941. Served as an air gunner. posted to 16 Operational Training Unit (OTU) RAF in Deember 1942.
      He was killed 31 Jan 1943. His Wellington bomber X3990 crashed 6 minutes after take off on a training flight near Heathfield House, Bletchingdon, England. He is buried in grave 1A11 of the Middleton Stoney Church yard, England, and commemorated on the Newcastle, NB cenotaph..
