In 1831 he was one of those residents who refused to supply any information to the Maine agents, John G. Deanne and Edward Kavanaugh.
In the report of the Land Commissioners of 1843 he is given as occupant of river lot #144 on the south shore of the St. John River.
In 1850 he sold some of his land interests to Narcisse Dufour and apparantly migrated across the International boundry to Edmundston, NB.
