    • WATERVILLE -- Anita E. Violette, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, after a long illness.

      She was born in Waterville on Nov. 21, 1928, the daughter of Alfred Parady and Marguerite Chamberlain.

      She enjoyed Sunday picnics and swimming.

      She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Steven O. Violette; three daughters, Diane Green and husband John of Vassalboro, Jean Vigue of Unity, and Nancy Bolduc and husband Paul of Clinton; two sons, Daniel Hawes and friend Paula, and Reggie Vigue and wife Millie of Fairfield. She had 27 grandchildren (five are deceased); 47 great grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; many aunts and uncles and cousins and also by her husband's brothers and all their children, whom she loved and held so dear in her heart.

      "My wife Anita has passed away but will forever be in my heart 'til I die. She was and always will be the love of my life."

      By her request, there will be no visiting hours and no flowers. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Fairfield in the springtime.
