      Hermon and Bangor - Carolyn Duplessis, 82, passed away peacefully January 12, 2020 at Eastside Rehab. She was born in Old Town, June 2, 1937 the daughter of Clement and Marian Violette.
      Carolyn was athletic in her younger years, enjoying ice skating, roller skating and dancing. She also did some sketching and painted sceneries.
      Carolyn was extremely fortunate to have a thoughtful, compassionate, loving sister like Charlene, who took the time to visit regularly and make certain her needs were met.
      Surviving are one son, Merritt "Rocky" Hayden and his wife, Pat of Hermon; one sister, Charlene Bjorn of Bangor; two nieces, Cathy Dewitt of Texas and Cari Osbourn and her partner Jason of Bangor; a nephew, Duke Hayden and his wife Tammy of Winslow.
      Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Ethel Grant; and three nephews, James and Allen Dewitt and Clement Grant.
      A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden in the spring.
