      Viola Violette
      At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, October 16, 2017, Mrs. Viola Violette of Drummond passed away at the age of 88 years. She was the widow of George Violette. Born at Drummond in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Come and Marie-Anne (Cote) Lagace.

      Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Violette was employed as a janitor in several area schools.

      She is survived by four children, Jean-Guy of New Denmark, Nicole Violette-Laforge (Renaud) of St-Leonard-Parent, Micheline Levesque (Rodolphe) of Grand Falls and Denise Violette-Michaud (Denis) of Drummond, daughter-in-law, Raymonde Violette (late Jacques) of Saint-Leonard, 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Yvette Cyr (late Noel) of Ontario, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jacques, brothers Doris and Ozibald, sisters, Rita Beaulieu, Yvonne Pelletier, Odette Rossignol, Gilberte Ouellette and infant sister Sylvaine Lagace.

      Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18th at 11 a.m. from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

      Please note that there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service.

      For those who wish, donations to the Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
