  DOB: Lippe pg 171 FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Clarence E. Violette, 79, formerly of Lakewood, Wash., died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at Pitt Memorial Hos-pital, Greenville, N.C. Mr. Violette made Fayette-ville, N.C., his home in 2003. He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Air Force as a technical sergeant after 20 years of service. During his military career, Mr. Violette received numerous service awards including the National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star and the Korean Service Medal. Mr. Violette was predeceased by his wife, Norma Violette; and his brother, Leo Violette Sr. of Fayetteville, N.C. He is survived by four brothers, Roland, Claude, Rodney and Lloyd; and three sisters, Irene, Rachel and Norma. He leaves behind many nephews and nieces who loved him very much. Burial will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash.
