  DOB: Lippe pg 230 EAGLE LAKE – Jim Violette, 51, died peacefully May 27, 2010, at his residence. He was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Norman and Dorothy Violette. He was a well-known businessman. He devoted his life to his family. Jim was involved in his children’s activities, especially basketball and golf. He loved to golf, ride his motorcycle and the outdoors. Jim is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sue; his daughter, Kristin; his son, Jeremy; his parents, Norman and Dorothy Violette; his brother, Mark; his sisters, Carleen Collins and Carol Bennett; nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. June 7 at St. Mary’s Parish, Eagle Lake. A scholarship fund has been set up in memory of Jim for a child attending a technical college.
