    • At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home, Saint-Leonard, May 19, 2014, Mrs. Lilianne Soucy of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 94 years. She was the wife of the late Onezime Soucy. Born at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1919, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Clara (Desjardins) Gauvin.

      She is survived by her children, Conrad of Connecticut, Gaetanne Levesque (Raymond) of Connecticut, Leo (Friend Susan) of Florida, Bertin (Gisele) of Baie Comeau, Quebec, Odeo of Florida, Linda Aines of Florida and Daniel of California, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters, Gertrude Thibault of Enfield, Connecticut and Rita Gregory of Florida, one brother, Eugene Gauvin of Florida, several nieces and nephews.

      Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, May 24th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, the family would appreciate mass offerings be made in memory of Mrs. Soucy.
