      Jeannette M. Votour, 82, died June 8, 2005, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born Jan. 22, 1923, at Van Buren, a daughter of Walter and Yvonne (Derosier) Violette. She was employed at the Richmond Woolen Mill and after moving with her husband, Henry to Corinna in 1961, worked at the Dexter Shoe Company from 1961-1983. Jeannette was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia and husband, John Johnson, of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Meakin of Corinna, Geraldine and husband, Maurice Lambert, of Windsor, Conn. and Imelda "Millie" Violette of Corinna; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Votour; and two sisters, Doris Dowling and Artheline Gilbert. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond. (Bangor Daily News 6/10/2005)
