After years of singing her favorite song "When We All Get To Heaven", Vivian made her ascent on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Vivian lived life to the fullest, introducing herself to everyone and making new friends everywhere she went. Despite some challenges, she fulfilled her dream of moving to Bangor, where she became a "city girl" at the age of 19. She worked several jobs over the years and was able to maintain her independent lifestyle up until the final year of her life. Vivian was devoted to her church family, and spent a lot of time eating at her favorite restaurant, Paddy Murphy's, where the staff knew her by name and reserved her a table daily.
Vivian was predeceased by her parents, Hector Violette and Marion Rich Violette; and two brothers, Richard and Merle. She is survived by a special sister and caregiver, Pauline "Polly" Heline and husband, Douglas Heline, of Deer Isle; nieces, Rhonda Mitchell and husband, Corliss, of Deer Isle, and Nancy Violette, of Bucksport; great-nephews, Andy, Matt and Joel; great-niece, Sarah; great-great-nephew, Bentley; and great-great-niece, Emma.
