    • Rosalie R. Violette, 89, died Sept. 15, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 15, 1922, in Trois Pistoles, Quebec, daughter of Sylvio and Adele (Fiola) Roy. She had worked for Annette's Bridal Shop and Bella's Bridal Shop, Van Buren, for a number of years. She relocated to Bangor several years ago after the death of her husband. Mrs. Violette is survived by three sons, Charles Violette and his wife, Sharon, of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, Michael Violette and his wife, Eileen, of Townsend, Mass., and Richard Violette of Clifton; one sister, Marion McNeilis of West Warwick, R.I.; six grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Nicole, James, Beth and Katie; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo James Violette, in 2002; and by a daughter-in-law, Sue Violette, in 2006. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and noon-1:30 p.m. Monday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Monday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
