The bride-elect received her bachelor's degree from Oregon college of Education and attended Oregon State college. She is now doing graduate work at Stanford university. The future bridegroom is graduate of OSC and received his master of engineering degree from Yale university. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs Joseph Violette of Independence. Mr. Violette is now associated with the Standard Oil company in San Francisco. After a wedding trip to Carmel by the Sea the couple will make their home in Burlingame, CA
