  VIOLETTE, Hermance Lucille (nee Desjardins) Hermance's family is saddened to announce her passing on Friday, December 23, 2016. Predeceased by her loving husband Leo (2010). She will be deeply missed by daughters Nicole and Micheline. Cherished grandma to Jamie Violette, Timothy Maxymuik, and Michael Maxymuik (Jana). She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren Brandon Violette, Katie Violette and Leo Maxymuik. A special thank you to Queens Garden, Westdale Wing for their care during these last few difficult months. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Hermance's life will take place December 30, 2016,between 2-4 p.m. at Queen's Garden, 80 Queen Street North, Hamilton.
