Betty VioletteElizabeth "Betty" Louise (Rideout) Violette of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Betty was born on July 9, 1935 to William and Vera (Foster) Rideout in Carlow, (Johnville), NB.

Betty leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Guilmond Violette; her daughters, Claire (Wayne) and Beth (Malcolm); her sons, Gui (Christine), Dan (Cheryl), and Ray (Sheeleen). She dearly loved her eleven grandchildren, Billy, Joey, Nikki, Thomas, Emilie, Amanda, Courtney, Heather, Kaitlyn, Danielle, and Rhiannon; and her ten great grandchildren, Michael, Lacey, Alex, Emma, Mackenzie, Lachlan, Lydia, Naysa, Frankie, and Zoe.

She leaves behind siblings, Doug, Alice (Fred), Ivan (Nancy), Harvey, Alonzo (Gwen), and Jasper. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Allen (Dianna), Clara (Lewis), Bill (Ruth), Archie, and Stephen (Sheila).

Betty was very active, going on daily walks, doing her own yard work, and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She cooked for her family and did all her own housework into her 86th year.

Betty was also very talented. She could sew, knit, quilt, square dance, and was a wonderful cook. She loved being involved in the Antique Auto Club, camping in their travel trailer (summering at Portage Lake with her sister Clara), gardening, and bird watching. Above all, she loved doing things with and for her family.
