      At the Grand Falls General Hospital, December 27, 2018, Mrs. Realdine Violette of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes passed away at the age of 63 years. She was the wife of Daniel Violette. Born at Grand Falls in 1955, she was a daughter of the late Enoil and Jeannette (Ouellette) Desjardins.

      She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Marina Violette of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and Annie Violette (Jessi Laforge) of Saint-Andre, four grandchildren, Cassandra, Nadège, Alexis and Robin, her brother and sisters, Allain (Suzanne), Marie-Line Rossignol (Edgar), Dorina Poitras (ex-husband Emile Jr. "Joe") and Mariette Ladouceur (Michael), all of Saint-Andre, Sylvie Theriault (Valmont) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and Josee Desjardins of Wickenburg, Arizona, sister-in-law, Line (late Rejean), as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Enoil in 1974 and Jeannette in 2017, two infant grandchildren, and a brother, Rejean in 1975.

      Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Tuesday January 1st from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday January 2nd from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

      Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 4 p.m. from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
