Edith Violette, Bradley's Oldest Resident, Dies
Edith Maude Violette, 91, of Bradley, died at a Bangor hospital Wednesday noon. She was the widow of Edward Violette who died in 1963. She was Bradley's oldest living resident and was the holder of the Golden Cane.
Mrs. Violette was born at Hermon, Feb. 28, 1876, daughter of late Reuben and Jennie (Cochran) Overlock. She had resided in Bradley since 1940, and prior to that she had lived at Carmel.
