- Resident of Antioch Anthony unexpectedly passed away in his sleep Sunday morning at the young age of 32. He was born in Hayward, CA. At the age of 6, the family moved to Antioch, CA where he grew up, attending school, playing sports, competing at all levels, a winner always, conquering any challenge. Anthony could be considered a superman by all his super powers, intelligence and knowledge. He was a jack of all trades, jumping right in and giving it his all. He loved quality in everything, like extreme fast cars, and motorcycles. If it had wheels, he would modify it to go faster. He was a perfectionist, proud of his accomplishments. He was a daredevil who could tolerate pain and never complained. He went into the car business and became a professional detailer. He aspired to be an architect, gifted with the natural talent of drawing blue prints for whatever project he undertook. He had a zest for life and had a heart of gold, always willing to help when needed. He was a spiritual young man with good morals and values, who believed in himself and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed working out to stay fit and took pride in his appearance. His memory will live forever, with all of us who loved him, he now has left behind. We will honor his memory for being one of a kind. His two beautiful daughters, Alysia Violette 14, of New Mexico, and Madison Dumas 9, of Bethel Island. His loving mother, Cynthia Violette of Antioch; his sister, Vianna (Dan) Hartley of Connecticut; his doting and loving grandmother, Miriam Dumas of Antioch; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James T. Violette on April 1, 1998.
