  DOB: Maine Vital Records which has name as Silvio Frances Violette and shows his parents names CPL US Army WWII Mr. Stanley Francis Violette, 96, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Rocky River Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Neal Carter. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Mr. Violette was born on April 11, 1922 in Portland, ME. He was preceded in death by his wife, Callie Rice Violette, and his daughter, Sandra Violette Jones. Stan proudly served our country in the US Army, serving during WWII. He retired from Harris Teeter and was a member of Rocky River Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed watching baseball, playing senior games, was an avid bowler and writing poetry. He is survived by his sons, Ron Violette and wife, Jane of Concord, Gary Violette of San Diego, CA; son-in-law, Dennis Jones of Concord; six grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Stan’s caregiver, Donna Hawkins, for her love and support over the years.
