      The death of Mary O. Violette daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Violette took place Tuesday June 15th 1920 after several months of illness that she bore with much patience and courage. Her age was 27 years. For many years she was a well known clerk at Jordan Bros. Old Town where she made many friends and was highly respected, late years she has been employed in Bangor. She is survived by her parents three sisters and five brothers who have the sympathy of their many friends at this time.
      The funeral services were held Friday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Josephs Catholic church, and were attended by a large number. Rev. Eugene Gauthier officiated. The bears were Harold Russell, Joseph Martin, Pearl Dufour and Napoleon Brodeur. Interment was in Forest Hill cemetery.
