- Danny Victor Campbell 71, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away March 24, 2016 at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care. He was born October 6, 1944 in Patten, Maine to Gilbert “Mike” Campbell and Mabel Campbell, née Charette. Danny was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Great Northern Paper Mill in Millinocket, Maine. He was a dedicated servant to Saint Elizabeth Episcopal Church of Zephyrhills. He was a long-standing member and current president of Zephyr Shrine Club and a member of Masonic Blue Lodge #198. A friend of Bill W. for 36 years. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Campbell, née Harriman; 3 sons, Dennis Campbell of Winslow, ME, Bert Campbell of Malone, NY and Victor “John” Campbell of Island Falls, ME; 3 stepchildren, Ralph Robbins of Riverview, FL, Sonya Hooper, née Robbins and husband, Michael of Zephyrhills, FL, Alison Weeks of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Bailey, Tasha, Anastasia, Shannon; great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bruce and his wife Thelma “Butch” Campbell of Patten, ME, Donis Campbell of Patten, ME; 2 nephews; special friend, Frank Halsey. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Gary and Rufus Campbell; nephew, Gary Campbell; grandson, Shawn Robbins. A memorial service will take place 2 PM Monday, March 28th, 2016 at Saint Elizabeth Episcopal Church, 5855 16th Street, Zephyrhills, FL. Burial will take place at a later date in Augusta, Maine.
