      Joyce Ann (LeClair) Violette, 81, passed away on March 21, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Houlton on July 21, 1936, the daughter of Perley and Kathleen LeClair. She attended Bucksport High School, graduating in 1954. Upon graduation, she worked for St. Regis Paper Company for several years, then went onto work for Jed Prouty Tavern until her retirement.
      Joyce was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with her family and cats.
      Joyce is survived by her husband of 36 years, Henry Violette; her five children, Robert Leeman, Jessica DeRaps and husband, Danny, David Violette and wife, Susie, Susan England and husband, Joe, and Doris Gray and husband, David; grandchildren, David, Kathleen, Codey, Connor, Cooper, Gerry, Stephen, Michael, Zachary, Jenn, Cassie, Rae, and Samantha; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, John LeClair and wife, Ann, one brother-in-law, Donald Violette, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, sons, Cary Leeman, Brian Leeman, and Jeffrey Leeman; sister, Kathleen "Kitty" Rosebush, and brothers, James LeClair and Robbie LeClair.
      Donations in Joyce's memory may be made to the Bucksport Animal Shelter, P.O. Box X, Bucksport, ME 04416. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Courtland Rehab and Living Center and staff at the Bucksport Reginal Heath Center for their care and compassion towards Joyce.
      Family and friends will gather for visitation from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm Street, Bucksport, ME 04416.
