    According to 1900 Webster, Mass. census, she was born Nov 1868, but this is a census done in the US by English speaking people, on French speaking people, so they are always suspect due to the language issues. In addition her parents were married 18 October 1868 and it is very unlikely a Catholic would have had a child a month after their marriage. I believe the birth date based on the 1880 census is correct.

    Louis George Violette' 88 of 20 Willow St at Tterihebec Plaza died Tuesday morning July 5 1994 at Kennebec Valley Medical Center Augusta Division after a brief illness. He was born in Barre, Mass on Dec 3 1905, the son of Joseph A and Hermine (Duval) Violette. A member of St Augustine Catholic Church Mr Violette had been employed by the City of Augusta for several years. For much of his life he had been a self-employed woodsman. He was predeceased by his wife Irene B (Cote) Violette in 1985 and two sisters' Mariana Chouinard and Josephine Noell. Survivors include a stepson Patrick J Mercier of Augusta three stepdaughters Jeannette (Mercier) Libby
