    At her residence, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Mrs. Thelma Michaud of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes passed away at the age of 89 years. She was the widow of Gerald Michaud. Born at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Abel and Philomène (Roussel) Violette.

    She is survived by five children, Mario (Denise Voisine) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Francine Michaud of Candiac, Québec, Marie-Lourdes Michaud of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Céline (partner John) of Iron River, Alberta and Violette Michaud of Longueuil, Québec, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three brothers, Gérard of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Jean-Eudes (Francine) of Terrebonne, Québec and Hermel (Gertrude) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gérald, three children, Martine in 1954, Alain in 1965 and Daniel in 1974, one sister, Annette ''Ti-Anne'' Violette, two brothers, Jean-Marie and Clermont Violette.

    Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Friday, December 16th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 17th from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

    Her funeral service will be held Saturday, December 17th at 11 a.m. from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
