Dave Chase, 74, of Gwinn, died Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2015, at his home.

He was born December 27, 1940, in Portland, Maine, a son of the late Louis D. and Agnes H. (Violette) Chase, Sr.

Dave served 20 years in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and retired in 1980 while stationed at KI Sawyer AFB before working for Northrop Aircraft also on the base.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Lee) Chase of Gwinn; a son, Michael (Leona) Chase of Wilmont, MN; grandchildren, Ann Marie (Brent) Paulet and Michael Chase, Jr.; a great-grandchild, Alex Chase; sister, Violette Gioux of Portland, ME; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Chase.
