Page 138 records the children of Jean-Baptiste Violette b. 27-7-1852 Van Buren, Maine and Marie Thibodeau. Three errors have been found with this record.
Third – there is no marriage indicated for the family’s only remaining son, Michel b. 6-9-1880. A review of the marriage record for Joseph Violette who married Alphonsine Morin on 23 Oct 1906 in Caribou, Maine indicates that he was 25 years old, which points to it being Michel. In addition, after the death of his younger brother Solomon Joseph in 1885, he was the only remaining son in the family. So this leaves us with only one possible explanation- Michel was going by the name Joseph in 1906 and is the son who married Alphonsine.
