      Memoree V. Thibodeau, 87, of Forest Avenue died Thursday in a local nursing home.

      She was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, a daughter of Paul and Mary Parant Violette, and attended schools in Canada.

      For several years, Mrs. Thibodeau worked for the former Sorenson Bakery. She was formerly in charge of the Layette Club which was associated with Deering Pavillion. They knitted head caps and sweaters for premature infants in the area hospitals.

      She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.

      Her husband, Ronell Thibodeau, died in 1971.

      Surviving are three sons, Gerard F. Thibodeau of Manchester, Conn., Louis P. Thibodeau of Seaford, Del., and Joseph R. Thibodeau of Aurora, Ill.; two daughters, Maxine Cavallaro of Portland and Rochelle Monroe of Charleston, S.C.; a stepsister, Clair Diona of Montreal; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

      A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland. Arrangements are by Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home.
