      Geraldine Nathalie Sipe, age 99, departed this life in the company of her daughter and dear friend on January 13th, 2020 at Life Care Center, Port Saint Lucie, FL.
      Geraldine is proceeded by her husband Leroy Samuel Sipe, Her parents Joseph (John) and Lorena (Kellner) Violette, a sister Ruth Barrett, a brother Burton Violette and their spouses. Also, her grandson John M. Mazako Jr and son- in- law John M Mazako Sr.
      Geraldine is survived by her son, her daughter Jean (Sipe) Mazako, her granddaughter Kelly (Mazako) Kirk and husband James, 2 grandsons, and 10 beloved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
      Geraldine was born in Danbury, CT on August 29, 1920. Geraldine grew up and raised her family in Danbury and later in life move to New Milford, CT and Port Saint Lucie, Fl . Geraldine was a homemaker and housewife. She was best known for her loving and friendly personality. She always had a smile on her face. She loved to help the children with school projects, especially shadow boxes. You could often find her making her famous apple turnovers and applesauce cake or crocheting items for the home, and for anyone who asked, especially blankets. Her number one priority was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and visiting her other relatives.
      Geraldine truly enjoyed life and took everything in stride. She was strong, had the patience of a saint, and full of wisdom. The world was a better place with her. She will be greatly missed by all.
