Clairmond “Frenchy” Violette, 71, of Forestville, beloved husband of Lee (Berry) Violette, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Bristol Hospital. Clairmond was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, New Brunswick, Canada, on November 18, 1940 and was a son of the late Abel and Philomene (Roussel) Violette. He was a longtime Forestville resident, worked for Arthur Industries for many years and most recently for Hinman Lumber, in Burlington. In his younger years he enjoyed playing hockey, he was an avid Boston Bruins, Redsox and Patriots fan, loved going to the casinos, nature and wildlife. Besides his wife Frenchy is survived by his daughter: Billi Violette, of Forestville, three brothers: Gerard, Jean-Eudes, and Hermel Violette, all of Canada: two sisters, Thelma Michaud and Annette Violette, all of Canada, a brother-in-law: Thomas Berry, of Vermont, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers: Jean-Marie and Guildo Violette. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 21, 2012) at 10 AM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
