Nora Violette
At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, January 24, 2020, Mrs. Nora Violette of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes passed away at the age of 90 years. She was the widow of Armand Violette and had been a resident of Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard for the past few years. Born at Siegas in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Valeda (Marquis) Beaulieu.
Mrs. Violette was a member of the ''Mouvement des femmes chrétiennes'' of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes.
She is survived by her son Marcel (Louise) of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, two granddaughters, Paula Violette (Kevin "Pee-Wee") and Sylvie Violette (Joey Levesque), great grandsons, Joshua and Kaylan, two brothers, Albert Beaulieu of Edmundston and Roland Beaulieu of Saint-Leonard, one sister, Yvette Hébert (Gervais) of Edmundston, sisters-in-law, Bernice Beaulieu (late Gerald) of Saint-Leonard, Donata Beaulieu of Grand Falls, Simone Beaulieu of Edmundston and Jeannine Cyr Beaulieu (late Lucien) of Edmundston, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her daughter Armande Violette, a sister, Corine Martin (late Yvon), two brothers, Lucien and Gerald Beaulieu.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 28th at 2 p.m. from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
For those who wish, donations to the Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
