    • Wilfred Albert Chamberlain, 98, of Beaumont, died Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on December 15, 1919, to Rose Anna Violette and Joseph Chamberlain, in Caribou, Maine. Wilfred was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He served in Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930’s. Wilfred was an avid fisherman, woodworker, gardener, and has traveled to all fifty states.

      Survivors include his wife, Ruth Chamberlain; daughters, Karen Holcomb and her husband, Haden, of Weatherford and Rose Mary Guidry and her husband, Michael, of Alvin; grandchildren, Kristen Pilkington and her husband, Jeff; Justin Holcomb; Amanda McKay and her husband, Michael; Janet Alcayaga and her husband, Eduardo; Brian Guidry and his wife, Brook; and Michelle Baker and her husband, Jared; nine great-grandchildren; and a special thanks to his sister-in-law, Nancy Fear.

      He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Chamberlain; sisters, Rita Gilbert, Gloria Brayall, and Lorraine Travers; brothers, Rueben Chamberlain and Leonard Chamberlain; sister, Juliette Chamberlain; and granddaughter, Ashley Ann Guidry.
