      Mildred W. Violette EASTON -- Mildred W. Violette, 81, of County Road 113, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at her home. Born March 4, 1921, at the family farm in Easton, she was the daughter of the late T. Francis and Philamone Young Walsh. Mrs. Violette served as a Lieutenant with the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean conflict. She was a flight nurse at several locations around the world and had also served at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. She took great pride in being a mother and was involved with the family farm. She was also a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville. Her husband, Glenn M. Violette, died in 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Judith Balaty of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sons, Glenn, Thomas and John Violette of Easton and James Violette of Pittsford; one sister, Patricia Smaldone of Waldorf, Md.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with the Rev. Christopher Welch officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or to Easton Greenwich Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 84, Greenwich, NY 12834.
