      Elizabeth V. Gagnon, 83, wife of the late Lt. Col. Clayton Gagnon, died April 14, 2005, at a Presque Isle Hospital. She was born March 23, 1922, in Washburn, the daughter of Edward and Laura (Violette) Tardy. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Presque Isle. Mrs. Gagnon enjoyed playing bridge and knitting. She is survived by a son, and his wife, David and Vi Gagnon of Albany, N.Y.; two daughters, Beverly Jean Warren of Presque Isle and Pamela Susan Reynolds and her husband, William, of Glenburn; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Georgianna Donnell of York Harbor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Presque Isle with the Rev. Alfred Irving, celebrant. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
