She was born in Wallagrass, a daughter of Alphonse and Celina Martin Deprey, and graduated from Biddeford High School. Her main focus in life was her family, according to family members. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was predeceased by two sons, infant Allen in 1947 and Marc in 1994. Survivors include four sons, Joel M. of Caribou, James A. of Old Orchard Beach, Rodney J. of Worcester, Mass., and Danny E. of Springvale; two daughters, Collene Valliere and Debra Letarte, both of Waterboro; and two brothers, Jack Deprey of Old Orchard Beach and Edgar Deprey of Florida.
