    • Surrounded by his family, at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the age of 40 years and 2 months, passed away peacefully Danick Violette, fiance of Kathy Benoit.
      He lived in Shediac, but formerly in Kedgwick.
      Born July 3, 1981, he was the son of Mr. Léonard Violette and the late Ms. Jacinthe St-Pierre.
      Besides his wife, his 4-legged companion, Chuck, and his father, he is survived by four sisters: Mylène, Michèle (Vincent), Mélissa and Carina (Danny), his godchild Andréane (Michaël), his godson Jean-Daniel , a nephew Nathaniel, his four nieces: Ève-Marie, Marie-Hélène, Maria and Maya-Rose, as well as a little nephew, Dominic, whom he loved very much.
      He is also survived by his parents-in-law Alexis and Rosemonde, his brother-in-law Steve (Cindy), his sister-in-law Céline (Jean-Sébastien), the spouse of his sister-in-law, Jean-Michel (late Marisol), his two nieces Kim and Frédérique, as well as several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
      He now rests with his mother Jacinthe and his sister-in-law Marisol.
      A celebration in memory of Mr. Danick Violette will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday October 2, 2021 at the Valcourt Funeral Home in Saint-Quentin, with burial in the parish cemetery of Kedgwick. It will be possible for family members and friends who have received the access code, to see the celebration live or replay via a link that will be added shortly.
      The family will receive expressions of sympathy starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Valcourt Funeral Home at 254 Canada Street in Saint-Quentin.
      Visiting hours will be Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the time of the celebration.
      Due to restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Health, wearing a mask and proof of vaccination will be required to enter the funeral home.
      In his memory, the family encourages people to sign their organ donation cards.
