CORINNAS April 20—Walter N. Violette, 54. a veteran of World War one, died Sunday evening at his home In Corinna. He was born In Van Buren, December 25 1898 son of Onesime and Margaret (Grace) Violette. He has been a farmer since coming to Corinna about 15 years ago from Brewer. He was a member of Twilight Grange in Corinna.
He is survived by his wife, the former Yvonne DeRosier of St. Agathe: six daughters, Mrs. Agnes Meakim of East Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Geraldine Lambert and Miss Mildred Violette of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Jeanette Yotour of Richmond, Mrs. Artheline Gilbert of Dexter and Mrs. Doris Wright of Bangor; his father of Hartford, Conn.; four brothers, Alfred of Bucksport, Ludger of South Deerfield, Mass., Donald of New Britain, Conn., and Leo of Hartford, Conn.:three sisters, Mrs. Doris Wisener and Mrs. Mildred Copelleti, both of Hartford, Conn, and Misa Evelyn Violette of Banger; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, the Rev. George Dulac, officiating.
The remains- are at the Crosby funeral home, Dexter, where friends may call. Burial will be In Dexter cemetery.
