      HERMAN NEVERS WASHBURN Herman Nevers 69 died at a Presque Isle health-care facility April 23 1993. He was born in Presque Isle May 27 1923 the son of John and Emma (Mason) Nevers. He was a scout advisor for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Washburn for 30 years. Mr Nevers served with the US Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife Constance (Violette) Nevers a daughter Carol Doughty twin granddaughters Erin Ann and Erika Lee Doughty all of Washburn. He will be remembered by special friends Corinne and Alphonse Levesque and family of Caribou. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home 30 Church St Presque Isle 7-9 pm Saturday. Services will be held at the funeral home 2 pm Sunday with the Rev Alphee Marquis officiating. Interment will be in Crouseville cemetery later this spring.
