    • Arrived at Tadoussac 24 June 1618 by a ship of the "Company of Merchants".
      In 1621 he cosigned with Champlain and others a petition to king Louis XIII presented by the Duke de Mortmorency.
      1624 he was named Under Commissioner of Trade and mastered the languages of the Montagnaise, Algonquins and Hurons and became interpreter for the commander de Caen.
      When Capt. Kirke beset Quebec in 1629, it was Olivier who delivered the keys to him.
      At the end of 1633 he became Commissioner General of the 100 Associates.
      In 1646 he bought an eighth of the Seigneurie de Beaupre. At the same time he was Judge Provost on the side of Beaupre. (per Le Tardif Fusion V2, N4.)
