Notes - PHILIAS J CYR OLD TOWN March Philias Cyr 82 a resident of 401 South Main Street died Sunday night at a Bangor Hospital after a short illness. He was born at Grand Falls June 13 1875 the son of the late Francis and Celina (Good-row) Cyr. Employed by the Penobscot Chemical Fibre Company at Great Works for more than 30 years. Mr Cyr had retired about 10 years ago. He was a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving are six daughters Mrs Lawrencg Morin Old Town, Mr Edna Pochini Arlington Mass., Mrs Mabel Hamilton and Mrs Lillian Petrie both of Bangor, Mrs Cecilia Cyr of Old Town and Mrs Mary Tomasiili Rochester, six sons Dennis Cyr Greenfield Mass., Leo of Bucksport, Ludger of Rockville Conn., Maurice of Bangor, Francis of Millinocket and Wilfred of Washington; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas and Oneztme Cyr of Grand Falls, and two sisters Mrs Flavie Mazerolle and Mrs Alice Levesque both of Grand Falls. Remains are at the Balllargeon Funeral Home 109 Middle Street where friends may call. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at St Joseph's Catholic Church.
